Almost any type of garment made of cloth or leathe can be embroidered. Custom embroidery is a easy way to spice up a big occasion, making it that much more special. And after the event is over, your guests will also have something practical to remember it by.
Some family events for which embroidery would be nice.
Happy B-days
Birthdays are always a special occasion and having something custom embroidered just for the person involved can make a great gift. You could have a garment such as a polo shirt or sweatshirt embroidered with a favorite sports team or a favorite band or simply something personal to that particular person.
And if that birthday is an important one, like a 21st or a 40th, this could be really nice. A piece of custom embroidered clothing will nicely enhance the special day.
When having a family reunion
Holding a family reunion would be a great time to have use custom embroidery. You could do a little research to dig up a family crest and really highlight the event by embroidering it on a cap or shirt and having everyone wear it. Or any other special image that is meaningful to your family.
Some families have a special logo or crest. You might embroider this on the napkins or the tablecloth to add a sense of class to the gathering. Additionally, you could put the guest names or nicknames onto the napkins to make the event a little more fun.
Engagements, Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Christenings
Embroidery is a good way to enhance an engagement party, wedding, or a bar mitzvah. If someone is getting married you could have t-shirts, caps, or shirts embroidered to mark the occasion.
You could have a small design embroidered onto a christening blanket or gown, such as the date of the christening, the name of the baby and the location of the event to make a special memento. This type of idea will also work nicely for a bar mitzvah or a young lady’s sweet sixteen party. The idea of embroidering napkins and table settings for a wedding with the date and the bride and grooms names would also be wonderful.
Miscellaneous Events
Embroider is an appropriate way of enhancing many other types of events, such as a graduation ceremony. This may include having a cap and gown embroidered for the happy graduate. You could embroider the date and name of the college (and maybe even the degree) on the ceremonial outfit.
Or maybe you are going on a special family sports day out and could have team names embroidered onto a t-shirt. In fact the list is practically endless, so why not give embroidering a try and see how it can enhance a number of occasions.
